Facilitated the planning process and coalition building that launched the Renton Innovation Zone Partnership, which is thriving as a community-school-family collaboration to advance racial equity and create healthy learning opportunities for children in Renton.
Led a qualitative study with Washington STEM and Governor Inslee’s Office that identified promising practices in career connected learning for Opportunity Youth across Washington State.
Facilitated a two-year quality improvement project focused on equitable impact for students of color in Open Doors schools, in partnership with the Community Center for Education Results and King County.
Supported dozens of small, grassroots organizations to submit competitive grants and build strong organizational capacities in partnership with King County Best Starts for Kids and Veterans and Human Service Levies.
Assessed Seattle Housing Authority’s Career Development and Leadership programs to improve effectiveness of staff training and pathways, aligned with SHA’s Race and Social Justice Initiative, and developed a train the trainer model for career development.
Provided transitional leadership of social services and property management as the Interim Chief Supportive Housing Office at Plymouth Housing Group, offering staff support and operational stability during a period of growth.
